STATISTICS

BICYCLES

We started the “Work for a Bike” project in September 2006.  We have now implemented this project in six villages.  (Prasat Char, Peam, L’berk. Doun Keo, Doun Un and Takam villages)

As of 1 May, 2011 we have provided 2,009 bicycles.

BREAKFASTS

We started providing breakfast at our school in Prasat Char village in July 2008.

As of 1 May, 2011 we have provided around 70,000 breakfasts.

EMERGENCY MEDICAL PATIENTS TREATED

We started this programme in July of 2009.

As of 1 May, 2011 a total of 10 children and

60 adults have received medical treatment for very serious ailments.  (27 females and 33 males).

The reason so few children have received medical treatment is that there are two very good children's hospitals in Siem Reap that offer a very good treatment at no cost.

EYE PATIENTS TREATED

We started this programme in July of 2007.

As of 1 May, 2011 a total of 134 patients have been treated.

63 females and 71 males

140 surgeries have been performed (some people need to have both eyes operated on.)  The following surgeries have been performed:

37 cataract, 39 pterygium and 52 double surgeries for cataract and pterygium (where the patient was suffering from both conditions simultaneously.)

EAR PATIENTS TREATED

We started this programme in August of 2008.
